As we age the levels of this naturally occurring product reduces. Therefore, by injecting a non animal filler product, we simply replenish Hyaluronic A substance ( a non animal stabilised product, already present in the body).

What does the treatment involve?

Prior to treatment, an Aesthetic and Laser Clinic Medical Practitioner will provide a free consultation. The actual procedure is quick and easy, taking approximately 30 minuses. No skin test is required. The gels injected into the lip using a very fine needle, adding volume and shape to the lip.

Is the treatment painful?

For this procedure, you can expect no pain, as we offer the use of local anaesthetic at no extra cost.

Are there any side effects?

While infrequent, potential side effects associated with the use of lip fillers include redness, bruising, swelling and tenderness. Side effects typically disci ate within a few days.

As the lip is highly vascularised with many blood vessels, it swells more than any other area. However, our Medical Aesthetic Practitioners are extremely experienced and gentle, therefore bruising and swelling tend to be minimal.

How long do results last?

Due to the increased blood supply to the lips, the product is broken down quicker than anywhere else. While Patients generally sustain the results for approximately 9 months from dermal fillers, duration of the effect is entirely individual.
